KOCOM POLICIES

Company Policies

These policies and procedures are in place to protect our clients and ourselves. We believe in holding ourselves and our clients to a higher standard, and if it is found that a client does not meet or exceed any of our policies or procedures we will gladly refund their course fee and recommend another training organization for their needs.  Your understanding and support is greatly appreciated in this manner. Kokoro Combatives, LLC reserves the right to change, update or alter its policies at any time and without notification to individuals or groups.

Course Pre-Requisites

All KoCom courses will indicate if a pre-requisite is applicable.  During course registration, the participants will be informed of such pre-requisite.

If pre-requisites are applicable, it will be the student’s responsibility to provide a written copy of prior training to the KoCom staff during the registration process.  At that time KoCom will inform the student if the prior training they received qualifies as the pre-requisite.  In addition, some courses will require the successful completion of a qualification course submitted the morning of training day one. Failure to achieve the minimum passing score on this qualification will result in the student’s dismissal from the course and the forfeiture of any monies paid to KoCom. It is the student’s responsibility to be truthful regarding their skill level and proficiency.

If dismissed from the course, the student will be allowed and encouraged to return to train with KoCom on a course where the pre-requisites are met or successfully completed. On a case by case basis KoCom will discount the student’s registration fee for another course that is suited for the student’s level.

The implementation of this policy will ensure all participants are at the same skill level and thus will allow everyone to maximize their training experience.

Attendance Policy

Kokoro Combatives, LLC reserves the right to refuse business or services to any individuals or organizations without providing an explanation. Final approval for attendance is at the sole discretion of the of the KoCom staff.

If the student wishes to cancel then a full refund shall be issued.

Range Fees

Range fees will be the responsibility of the student.  KoCom will collect the total range fee balance on the morning of training day one.  KoCom will then pay the range facility staff and ensure all dues are in order for the remainder of the training event.

We will coordinate with each location the appropriate range fee and payment arrangements.  Students will be notified of the range fees upon registration.  Additionally, we will inform the student how and when to submit payment for the range facility.

Logistics Advisory

Kokoro Combatives LLC is not responsible for logistics mishaps, such as but not limited to missed flights, inclement weather, mechanical problems or late departures. You have our sympathy, but regrettably we cannot do anything with regards to refunds. We can only issue a training certificate good for one year from the original course date. This certificate is 50% off the course tuition and is not transferable to anyone other than the listed party. This certificate is good for any other course of equal or lesser level we provide and at any other location.

Last Minute Registrations

Students that are not pre-registered, and pay on the morning of training day will not receive a course certificate.  They may send a large self-addressed stamped envelope to the business address listed below and receive a certificate in the mail after the course.

Note & Questions

Please be advised that we put a lot of work into logistics for classes such as range fees, facility reservations, extra instructors and role players. Their time, use and efforts must be compensated no matter the circumstances.

For those who arrive to class late due to ANY reason, we will do as much as we can with the available time to catch them up to the  class. It is possible to spend time after class with the instructor as long as it does not interfere with range agreements, logistics plans or lighting conditions.
